Mawtch Taw-win En-mook has developed Units of Study from Kindergarten
to Grade 11. To ensure the validity, applicability and cultural content
of these units, we have implemented a Piloting Phase process that your
school can participate in.
Schools and teachers have been
engaged in the Pilot Phase of all units of study. To date, the original
twelve Units of Study have been piloted in a number of
different gradees and schools. With the comments received, the
original units of study are being revised and updated to better reflect
the cultural and educational needs of all students.
In the fall ofl 2007, twelve new Units will
be available for Piloting in schools. The Shki Mawtch Taw-win En-mook
project invites teachers and schools to participate in this
process. As a participant in the Pilot Phase, teachers receive a
complete Resource Kit including all resources and materials they will
need to teach the unit. The requirement for participation is to ensure
the completion of the Evaluation Form and afterwards submitting this
form to the Shki Mawtch Taw-win En-mook Project.
